Much better.
Much better, though I'd still love to see the jurors discuss the topic a little in real time.

An example that inspired the topic would be a starting point, but want to be clear that I appreciate the statement provided by Brigitte.

Here's the response I received, I hope this helps:

For the last few editions of the Juried Exhibition in Print, the Editorial Advisory Committee has chosen a loose "theme" that is intentionally open to interpretation and not so narrow as to exclude a large portion of the metalsmithing community. This intended looseness can, of course, generate uncertainty. For this current issue on "Shifting Sites" the emphasis is on location or place as subject or actual space for the creation and display of work. We are seeking works that expand and explore the "where" of contemporary metalsmithing: where shown or sold (on the street, in Pop Up spaces, on Internet, etc); where is it worn or used (under the clothes, in the hair, in ceremonies, etc); where does it have environmental impact (installations, interventions, performance, etc); where is work made (in public, at Burning Man, etc). As a subject for metalsmithing, "site" can be understood as geography, landscape or cityscape and be revealed in imagery or forms that reference natural settings, architecture, urban or rural spaces. "Shifting sites" broadly refers to the changing boundaries in metalsmithing practice that address place, location, geography, social space, as well as the natural and built environments.

How about a definition for " fluid boundaries in the production, subject matter, and siting of current metalwork"?

How about an example  for "creatively engage with their environment?"

Or examples for non-fluid boundaries?

Harriete asks the same question we had when we read this. In Committeeland this translates to, "Great! Only two people didn't get it."

I will ask and report back on what I hear!

Is there any possibility that they jurors (or a juror) could write an explanation for what is described as "the changing spaces of jewelry and metal objects as they are conceived, made, and displayed,"  including examples that address fluid boundaries in the production, subject matter, and siting of current metalwork and that creatively engage with their environment."

That sounds like one of those elephants by committee.

It infuriates and frustrates me that the description can not be more clear.

Sure we can just submit images and see want sticks, but I think a conversation about the topic might stimulate ideas, and provide clarity.
