The Association for Contemporary Jewellery

is devoted to the promotion, representation, understanding and development of contemporary jewellery in the United Kingdom and abroad.

Founded as a membership association in 1997 and registered as a Limited Company in 2006, it recognises a need to foster discussion, debate and critical review and interaction amongst its members. To this end we organise conferences, lectures, seminars, workshops and an annual general meeting for our members. Our regular newsletter, findings, features reviews, information, comment, book offers and discounts and is of benefit to both our members and the wider public. We also produce a monthly e-bulletin featuring news and opportunities.

We welcome as members practising jewellers, associated designers and crafts people, educators, students, gallery owners and retailers, museum curators, critics and collectors - indeed, anyone with an interest in contemporary jewellery.

Remember the time difference when submitting too!

It's hard to believe that 2017 is here. And with its arrival comes the last chance for established jewelry artists to submit proposals for the inaugural Susan Beech Mid-Career Artist Grant.

The $20,000 grant is available to an artist between the ages of 35 and 55 who has created a substantial body of work. This largest-of-its-kind grant is intended to help an artist create and implement a significant jewelry-related project.

The deadline to submit a proposal is midnight MST on January 16. Don't delay, because once the deadline passes, this grant opportunity won't be available for another two years.

Submit your proposal today for the opportunity to create some fierce work tomorrow. Find out everything you need to know at the link below.
