The Association for Contemporary Jewellery

is devoted to the promotion, representation, understanding and development of contemporary jewellery in the United Kingdom and abroad.

Founded as a membership association in 1997 and registered as a Limited Company in 2006, it recognises a need to foster discussion, debate and critical review and interaction amongst its members. To this end we organise conferences, lectures, seminars, workshops and an annual general meeting for our members. Our regular newsletter, findings, features reviews, information, comment, book offers and discounts and is of benefit to both our members and the wider public. We also produce a monthly e-bulletin featuring news and opportunities.

We welcome as members practising jewellers, associated designers and crafts people, educators, students, gallery owners and retailers, museum curators, critics and collectors - indeed, anyone with an interest in contemporary jewellery.

Central to the concept of Triple Parade is to set up a diverse dialogue between three parties.

Beyond THREE, is the first number to which the meaning “all” was given. It is the Triad; the power of three is universal and is the tripartite nature of the world as heaven, earth, and water. It is human as body, soul, and spirit.

1. Introduction.
The TRIPLE PARADE Biennial ( TP Biennial ) is an international exhibition event holds the success spirit and high qualified soul as a good mediator between East and West, which is expanded between China and the rest of the world on a multitude of level. From the very start is devoted to the hardcore awakening in contemporary art, applied arts and design from a jewellery perspective, with a focus on dialogue, naturally, but with a very open and contemporary-oriented approach. And, it also stands at the forefront of representation and promotion of collaborative partners, artists &designers, new contemporary ideas, thoughts and knowledge in all its specific sectors. TP Biennial embraced the aspirations in a great ambitious, setting up an intensive program consisting of exhibition, publication, workshop, conference, lectures.

NEW CRAFTING YOUR LEGACY
RESOURCE AVAILABLE
CERF+ The Artists Safety Net announces the release of Crafting Your Legacy: A Guide to Putting Your Non-Artistic Assets to Work in an Estate Plan. The 22- page publication is a free PDF download. The guide helps career artists plan the ‘afterlife’ for their tools and other studio assets and can be used as a supplement to other guides on estate planning, or to start that process. The guide includes eight case studies of other artists' experiences, checklists, and resources to help studio artists think about and plan for the fate of their tools, equipment, materials, library, archives, and other art making assets as part of their creative legacy.
Veteran curator and writer Mark Leach authored the publication, which is based on interviews with visual artists across the country at mid and late stages of their careers. CERF+ also drew on the expertise of attorneys Jim Grace and Megan Low (Arts and Business Council of Greater Boston and Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts of Massachusetts). This expert team co-authored the CALL Estate Planning Workbook for Visual Artists published by the Joan Mitchell Foundation.

Research and publication of Crafting Your Legacy was made possible by grants from the Joan Mitchell Foundation and the Windgate Charitable Foundation.
