Hello Mark,
How are you?
I didnt really think you'd make it down to the show, ita a wee bit out your road! its on for two months though if you do find your self in london at some stage.
Thanks for letting me know about the workshop - thats unfortunate. Hope you get it sorted soon!
I've only got afew weeks left at Bishopsland -moving back on the 15th of august. Dave and have got a flat sorted Broughton way!
See you soon
Nic
I will only consent to a Royal Welcome of all involved promise to roll the Scottish rrrrs and basically just talk unintelligibly. We had a Scottish minister at my husband's Presbyterian church (back in the days when we still went) and I liked him for 3 reasons: 1. The sermons were all mercifully brief; 2. I never understood a word he was saying because of his accent and 3. He claimed that all bagpipes have a microchip implanted so that they all only play 3 pieces of music: Scotland the Brave, Amazing Grace and ACDC's Highway to Hell. Loved that guy.
Ok, so it is duly noted to only be over there for 5 minutes late Spring/ early Summer. Got it. I will be in touch when the time comes so that we can synchronize our watches and meet for tea. Quickly. Looking forward to it already !!
Thats great mark cheers! ill have a look at them. My grant money is going to those two comparnies so i have to choose the best thing - i was planning to get the vice.
I'll check our the links! Oxford is only 20minit on the train from Reading!

Hello Mark! How are you?
Sounds like you've got some grand plans afoot for your new pad! I think it would be worth asking fiona if she intrested in workshop space! .. sounds like a good deal to me the more the merryer and all that!
I am almost definatly moving back to the burg in august - it just depends on dave as he's applying to do art teaching at Murry House (His second choice is Glasgow) and we are going to be getting a flat together.
I havent bought my drill yet - but i have got confermation i'm going to get the grant! Any wise words of wisdome on pendent motors and seivert touches?
Are you a member of the Contempoary Bristish Silversmiths?
I am planning to make some large silversmithing peices next- i'm a bit scared of the change in scale!
I was surposed to be exhibiting at the 12 Degrees Gallery on George Street but it closing down- its really sad it was a lovely wee place!
Have you got any exhibtions coming up?
Hope the move is going well!
Hello Mark,
Thank you so much, I loved making that work, but haven't really got the facilities to make it here at Bishopsland.
I'm pretty sure I can persuade Nic to take me up to your neck of the woods sometime, and I'll definitely bring some up to show you! plus I'd it'd be great to see your work and your workshop.
Emma
