The Association for Contemporary Jewellery

is devoted to the promotion, representation, understanding and development of contemporary jewellery in the United Kingdom and abroad.

Founded as a membership association in 1997 and registered as a Limited Company in 2006, it recognises a need to foster discussion, debate and critical review and interaction amongst its members. To this end we organise conferences, lectures, seminars, workshops and an annual general meeting for our members. Our regular newsletter, findings, features reviews, information, comment, book offers and discounts and is of benefit to both our members and the wider public. We also produce a monthly e-bulletin featuring news and opportunities.

We welcome as members practising jewellers, associated designers and crafts people, educators, students, gallery owners and retailers, museum curators, critics and collectors - indeed, anyone with an interest in contemporary jewellery.

5th Sept 2019 on learning Anarkik3DDesign 3D modelling programme and using it for 3D printing. The workshop is from 11am to 5pm, in Edinburgh. The fee is £53 (£63.60 Including VAT at 20%) and all essential software and equipment is provided.

Attendees will join a small group of five like-minded creatives who are looking to explore new ground, try new directions, challenge the status quo as this new five-hour workshop is for designer makers and applied artists who prefer not to use CAD programmes. They will discover the creative potential of free form 3D modelling for 3D printing for their practice.

As you know, Anarkik3DDesign is a very friendly, easy to learn & use haptic 3D modelling package that has 3D touch and movement in 3D. Haptics, as 3D touch, aids navigating the virtual 3D space. Although easy to learn there is ample scope for mastery at a professional level to enhance business and practice.

Please do share this. Here is the link to information and booking: http://anarkik3d.co.uk/product/5th-sept-2019-workshop-anarkik3ddesign/
