The Association for Contemporary Jewellery

is devoted to the promotion, representation, understanding and development of contemporary jewellery in the United Kingdom and abroad.

Founded as a membership association in 1997 and registered as a Limited Company in 2006, it recognises a need to foster discussion, debate and critical review and interaction amongst its members. To this end we organise conferences, lectures, seminars, workshops and an annual general meeting for our members. Our regular newsletter, findings, features reviews, information, comment, book offers and discounts and is of benefit to both our members and the wider public. We also produce a monthly e-bulletin featuring news and opportunities.

We welcome as members practising jewellers, associated designers and crafts people, educators, students, gallery owners and retailers, museum curators, critics and collectors - indeed, anyone with an interest in contemporary jewellery.

Temporary Closure
In response to COVID-19 and in accordance with Government advice Cove Park will close temporarily from Wednesday 18 March 2020.
We are in touch with all of the artists and organisations due to work with us this spring and summer and will monitor the situation closely, reopening as soon as it is considered to be appropriate. Residency programmes planned for the next few weeks have been postponed and we will continue to update all of the artists, partners and funders involved on the status of our programme as this situation evolves.
Cove Park's staff team will work remotely during this time and can be contacted as usual via information@covepark.org and via staff members' direct e-mails. Our monthly Newsletters and social media posts will continue. https://covepark.org/

Our Gem Fairs for March & April 2020 have been postponed

Apologies to everyone who received an automated newsletter earlier with details of our planned gem fairs. These events have now been POSTPONED until further notice.

We're very sorry that we forgot to cancel the scheduled reminder and for any confusion that may have caused.

The event in Bristol at Clifton Rocks may go ahead if circumstances allow, but it is looking unlikely at the moment.

We will update you again as soon as we are able to reschedule the events.

LGAC Temporary Closure

Wednesday 18th March 2020

As a result of the ongoing health emergency, Llantarnam Grange Arts Centre will be closed to the public from today Wednesday 18th March. We have an incredible community of people who work at, visit and support this organisation and their safety is paramount. As a public space we will remain closed until the advice changes and until then all public events, exhibitions and bookings are cancelled. http://www.lgac.org.uk/
