The Association for Contemporary Jewellery

is devoted to the promotion, representation, understanding and development of contemporary jewellery in the United Kingdom and abroad.

Founded as a membership association in 1997 and registered as a Limited Company in 2006, it recognises a need to foster discussion, debate and critical review and interaction amongst its members. To this end we organise conferences, lectures, seminars, workshops and an annual general meeting for our members. Our regular newsletter, findings, features reviews, information, comment, book offers and discounts and is of benefit to both our members and the wider public. We also produce a monthly e-bulletin featuring news and opportunities.

We welcome as members practising jewellers, associated designers and crafts people, educators, students, gallery owners and retailers, museum curators, critics and collectors - indeed, anyone with an interest in contemporary jewellery.

In the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust’s 30th anniversary year, the charity has joined with Royal Warrant-holding companies in the St James’s area to host a craft trail celebrating their shared passion for British craftsmanship.

Harry Forster- Stringer’s exquisite enamelled silver work nestles amongst the wares of this historic chemist and perfumer, housed on St James’s since 1790.

The LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize 2020 exhibition will open at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris, in Spring 2021. In the months before, the finalists welcome us into their studio, so we might better understand their works before enjoying them. https://www.instagram.com/loewefoundation/?hl=es&utm_source=SFM...(Jessica+Laughlin)_&utm_term=8185526&utm_content=Body_button1&country=GB&ione_extid=

Crafting at home was the nation’s top art activity over the summer according to an ongoing DCMS survey. Surprised? Not one bit. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/taking-part-web-panel-da...(EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_1_12_2018_COPY_01)&mc_cid=44c7417358&mc_eid=7ca5d70cc2#arts
