Thank you for looking at my page.  The surfaces of your pieces really make the work!

Stark, contemporary and dramatic. I like the markings which are in whimsical contrast to the forms.

Beautiful. Your have a particular talent with the surfaces. The glazing looks like oil stick and makes me want to touch it.

Lovely aesthetic - work beautifully on this scale and would be equally successful as large sculpture.  Really nice stuff!

Hi Margaret, Thanks, they are low fire earthenware. The sizes vary, but I scaled down so I could at least transport my own work. The sizes of these are anywhere from 19" to 37". I have to make myself build smaller sometimes - when I do a show visually I think its more interesting if there are varying heights. Tell me a little more about your work.

The size is constrained by the bisque kiln, most are the comfortable 13" to 22" range for vases. The wall pieces ( cannot remember if one is shown) are the same, high relief.....4" depth. Thank you for noticing...

I too, was an English major. Even got a Master's and taught high school! Self-taught in clay. Did you live near the rock formation "Devil's Slide"?

Where did you live? I like your work a lot. What is the medium? The scale?

I love the inclusion of the crayon and oil pastels in your work, like using the surface as a canvas...I always wanted to pursue sculpture, but for now I use jewerly as a my medium to create little wearable sculptures!
