Thanks Harriete,
I am pretty new to this page so I'm trying to get it set up but I have been forgetting to do my titles, material, and dates, I'm behind with that on my web-site as well. But I am trying to get my work seen so thanks for pointing out the importance, I'll get on it!

These are all 2008-09 and they are cast unryu paper with acrylic medium, then various embellishment or acrylic paint or polymer clay, sometimes felt. They're all reletively small, roughly 9"x9"x6". I'm working slightly larger now but nothings finished yet.
I have a web-site if you're interested.

To answer your questions.....I have sold but am not selling anywhere specific yet. I finished my MFA last fall and my husband and I have since moved to Portland OR. I have been sending work out ever since and had a small exhibition in Scottsdale, AZ. I'm hopeful about finding a gallery in the Portland/Seattle area. We'll see. I'm trying to get myself into the art scene here, it's slow going to say the least.

Resistence to paper? Do you mean are people reluctant to show my stuff because it's paper? I haven't noticed yet. I don't think so, they are quite sturdy. Do you find that people have a resistence to paper?

My pricing kind of depends on each piece, how much extra work went into it, they are pretty labor intensive so I'd like to get more than what I ask but then again I'd like to start selling more regularly first. So I've been pricing around $500-$600, that's including a 40% commission, of course I vary the price according to what they take in commission.

I'm familiar with your work, and was actually perusing the fabulous Manufractured book. What a great section they have on you! I see that your website has some excellent resources for someone in my....uh....state. Wonderful, thanks for doing that resources page, I will be using it. I work hard on my images but I think they still need improvement.

It's great to be in touch.
Thanks so much for all your comments.

Dates?

People won't be able to search for your work without this information.
