Advanced Anticlastic Raising with Michael Good

April 9-10, 2009 from 9 am - 5 pm $399 + $30 kit

Note: This class is currently full. We are taking names for the waitlist and we will inform you if a spot opens up.

For students who have taken the introductory anticlastic raising class and are familiar with the techniques, here is a priceless opportunity to take your work to the next level. This rare advanced class with Michael Good explores the development and execution of student?s original design ideas. Students are encouraged to bring in original concepts, sketches and/or models for interpretation and execution in anticlastic raising. Students then work closely with the instructor to learn pattern development, advanced procedures and ways to fine-tune their skills in order to bring their own projects to fruition. Prerequisite: Anticlastic Raising or experience.

Michael Good will also teach Anticlastic Raising.

Michael Good, of Rockport, Maine, is one of the most successful jewelry designers of our time. Largely self-taught, Michael worked with Heikki Seppä the developer of the sinosoidal stake and the concept of inverse raising, and pushed the techniques to new levels in his own work. Michael has won numerous awards and his work is sold through the finest jewelry stores and galleries.
