ART WORKS in Johnstown, PA is hosting a series of weeklong children's summer art camps featuring painting, sculpture, and mixed media for age groups 5-8 and 9-12. Come join me at ART WORKS this summer for some unique art techniques and fun projects designed to stimulate children's creativity and appreciation for art!

Paint-N-Play  July 8-12   9-noon daily

Ages 5-8 and 9-12

Discover more than one way to create a painting! Campers will discover new ways to paint using watercolor, tempera, puff paint, ink, and more. Using unusual painting tools, young artists will explore texture, play with color, and create their own painted masterpieces.

Trash Into Treasure   July 15-19   9-noon daily

Ages 5-8 and 9-12

Reduce, Rebuild, Re-Use. Fine art and sculpture! This camp will look at how 'junk' can make some of the greatest art. Transform discarded objects into fantastic works of art.

Mixed Media & Photography Mayhem   July 22-26   9-noon

Ages 5-8 and 9-12

Give your child the ultimate experience of learning how to create using the most elaborate combination of materials. Students will take photographs and learn how to incorporate them into their artwork in a variety of fine art mediums; acrylic, watercolor painting, charcoal drawing, and mixed media to name a few. *camera not necessary.
