Event Description

Dimensional Encaustics
3-Day VERY Mixed Media

Instructor: Randi Harper

March 1, 8 & 15
7 – 9pm

This introductory workshop is designed to introduce you to unique processes that take encaustic painting to a new dimension! We will create pieces that focus on form, texture - and embody the unique qualities of light, depth and color that only the encaustic method can create. Encaustic painting experience is helpful, but not mandatory, as basic instruction is included.
Course #W10WE31 $125. (Materials fee: $20.)

Randi Harper’s work is eclectic and cross-disciplinary – she would definitely not label herself an encaustic artist. Her real contribution to the medium is a set of “tools” and materials which she applies from a very different perspective. In a process that invites artists to explore iconically, dimensionally, the symbolism that drives their work. Visit her website: www.newdimensionencaustics.com
