Discover the ancient art of flameworking while creating beads from hot glass. Using Hot Head torches, a portable and inexpensive torch, this workshop focuses on making beads with dots. Dots are a fundamental design technique, which can be layered, masked, drawn, twisted, pulled and more. Darlene created a collaborative piece with fellow SCC artist Donna Penoyer, which was part of an international exhibition tour for over a year, including Japan. New and returning students are welcome and can expect to create four to ten glass beads.
