is devoted to the promotion, representation, understanding and development of contemporary jewellery in the United Kingdom and abroad.
Founded as a membership association in 1997 and registered as a Limited Company in 2006, it recognises a need to foster discussion, debate and critical review and interaction amongst its members. To this end we organise conferences, lectures, seminars, workshops and an annual general meeting for our members. Our regular newsletter, findings, features reviews, information, comment, book offers and discounts and is of benefit to both our members and the wider public. We also produce a monthly e-bulletin featuring news and opportunities.
We welcome as members practising jewellers, associated designers and crafts people, educators, students, gallery owners and retailers, museum curators, critics and collectors - indeed, anyone with an interest in contemporary jewellery.

Welcome to our NEW newsletter! We've been super busy in the studio and have lots of exciting news to share with you!
First up is our latest project in collaboration with the London Bike Kitchen is our new Bicycle Head Badge workshop. Customise your bike frame by designing and making your very own head badge, the course includes an introduction to silversmithing where you will learn all the skills you need to create your own metal head badge.

UK Crafts Council:
We are looking for a Creative Programmes Director to lead the department in the delivery of new, high quality professional and public programmes. These programmes support and profile craft regionally, nationally and internationally, and are delivered in partnership with a wide range of organisations and agencies.
The Crafts Council is the national agency for the development, support and promotion of contemporary craft.
We are in an exciting new period, developing the next generation of initiatives to support contemporary craft and with the public’s interest in making never more popular.
