You may remember we've been hinting at a surprise to our window display, well we've gone overboard, so to speak, and splashed out (groan) on an exciting window graphic based on The Great Wave, a famous woodblock print by Japanese artist, Hokusai. In fact, it's his most famous work and recognisable the world over. To us, it depicts a new wave – roll-on the next 20 years of Jam.

March was our birthday month and along with our 20 great jewellers exhibition we also joined forces with our neighbour, dress designer, Ieva Poriete, to host a glamorous fashion show.

If you missed the show you can see a video of the edited highlights.

Online shopping

Don't forget, all our daily news is on facebook and twitter and of course you can browse and buy all the pieces pictured here, and more, online.

Ulla Hornfeldt - flavour of the month

Born in Sweden, studied in London and New York and with workshops in Manhatten and London, Ulla is truly a cosmopolitan influence in contemporary jewellery design.

Balance, form and surface are all important design considerations for Ulla who takes inspiration from both urban and natural objects and creates each piece using both traditional and contemporary silversmithing techniques.

Linda Bloomfield - in the window

Linda Bloomfield's scientific pedigree makes it difficult to believe that she always dreamed of becoming a potter!

She has written four books on pottery, glaze technology and contemporary tableware and now specialises in simple, hand-thrown forms in white porcelain, glazed in a subtle palate of colours, made and designed by Linda (of course)!

Special offer

Starting Tuesday 1 April until Sunday 20 April, (that's Easter Sunday - see our opening times below) we're running a special anniversary offer.

We've selected 20 items of jewellery, glass, textiles, design-ware and ceramics and reduced them by 20% - but only for 20 days! (As a bonus, all readers of this newsletter can access the offer now without waiting until April 1. You get first pick!)

After 20 April, they'll be back to their regular prices. Check our specials page to see which items are on offer. You can buy on-line, telephone purchase or visit the gallery.

A bird called… Maj

Thanks to all the entrants for our 'Name That Bird' competition during March.

The lucky winner of a handmade bird brooch, by Myra Hutton, was Karen Phillips from
Tastes Delicatessen, Eton.

The name she chose? Maj – short for majestic, the colour of the bird, magenta, and Jam backwards! What else could it be?

Easter opening times

Yes, we're open throughout Easter, but slightly different hours.

Apr 18 Good Friday 12pm - 5pm
Apr 19 Saturday 10am - 6pm
Apr 20 Easter Sunday 12pm - 5pm
Apr 21 Easter Monday 12pm - 5pm
Birthstone for April - Diamond

If you have at least 3 years work experience, have worked in retail or similar, enjoy going that extra mile for the customer, are well presented and a good communicator we want to hear from you. Marketing and Communication Roles

Harriet Kelsall Bespoke Jewellery is an enthusiastic, authentic bespoke jewellery business, working closely with our customers to create individual pieces of jewellery.

Our team is small, dedicated and united in our love of creating beautiful things. We're looking to recruit two new positions, key roles which will take our creativity and tell more people about what we do and how we do it.

The way we approach what we do, is almost as important as what we do. We work in partnership, with our customers, with our suppliers and with each other.

We are now looking for two marketing communications experts to join us. You don't need to know everything about jewellery, we can teach you that; but you do need to share our values, of authenticity and creativity, of having an expert and intelligent approach - and exude warmth and spark. Our business is all about people, telling their stories and making them smile.

If it sounds like you, then we want to hear from you...
