Carrie writes, "here is [...] Torcher Tailor, the second performance of Torcher Chamber Arkestra. Torcher Tailor explores union, not only marital, but the Act of Union. Audience members were handed either a rose or a thistle upon entry without explanation and toward the end of the performance were invited to insert their foliage into the skirt of the glass wedding gown that was constructed on a living bride during the performance. There is a glass orchestra I made in the United States for the first film and another one in Britain that I built for Dr. Alistair MacDonald, Director of the Electro-Acoustic studios at the Royal Scottish Conservatoire. At approximately 30:56 of the Torcher film, the glass music begins. This is comprised of live percussion on glass instruments as well as compositions by MacDonald. He records the glass instruments and uses these recordings as the base language with which he writes".
