Project Information:

What do we use to organize our thoughts, remember events, make shopping lists etc? I want to focus in on not only the constant thoughts but what is behind all of them as well. The idea is to take the thoughts of everyday life and document them. See the change, the growth etc. of the artist, the project, the mind. 

I will create my own stickie notes out of metal and I will use techniques to create my own stickie pad. The techniques I will use will include etching, hammering, soldering, casting, piercing etc. Besides metals, I will use other materials such as handmade paper, and I may also alter an original stickie note as well. Each note will be documented and numbered. At the end they will be presented all together. And the end result will be photographed with all of the notes displayed on my body to show the importance of these ideas, quotes, memories, hopes, dreams etc. coming to the surface as wearable art.
