I currently do not have gallery representation in the Boston area. I've been in a couple exhibitions there, however. By the way, what type of porcelain do you use? I've been experimenting with different clay bodies and am always on the lookout!

    Thank you, Elizabeth :)
Love love your work; the elegance of your forms is breathtaking and the material completes them!

I just got back from Costa Rica, hence the delay in my response.
Thrilled about Crafthaus and wondering how to pay for membership.
    Thanks :)

Greetings to you in Wellesley Hllls. I grew up there. Nice work. Truly luscious forms.

I lived on Cushing Road, which is off of Cliff Road. Must be beautiful there now. I work in stoneware but fire only to 04. Some of the pieces are left as is after firing and some I decorate with gouache and pastel and oil stick. How about you?
  • Margaret Henkels

No, I was an English major and got into clay after college. The interest in architecture came after my interest in pots.

Well, you're ahead of me there. I intended to teach but got sidetracked. Yes, I lived near Devil's Slide and it seemed huge when I was a kid. I haven't been back in ages, but the last time I went to Devil's Slide, it seemed small, but sliding as a grown-up seemed slightly iffy.

Thank you for your interest. I hope I can be a good participating member here.....lovely work

Lisa is quite under-represented on the web. Here is her blog:

I am delighted to have been able to work with her and I have to say that our collaborative ring (with the skull) was, to me, something of a triumph! Some "moons" she made are in an earring set I posted photos of yesterday on my comment wall.

    Ooooo!  I love your work!!!
  • Amber Aguirre

Sure.  That sounds like fun!  Do you want to do it on computer or phone?  I live in Hawaii so there is some sort of time difference, but I am not sure where you are...
  • Amber Aguirre

O.K...you ask, I'll answer...but no rush.  Enjoy th beaches of Jamaica before doing any more work!
