The center has a decorative pattern which essentially is an abstraction of a floral motif. The next layer is from Peach Amaretto tin, Vintage style fruit label motifs with decorative edges continue the multiple patterns. The final layer is from a Tootsie Roll tin with a vintage style design and peach to maroon red details.

The Back has a Tootsie Roll image with vintage flavor in the same color palette as the front. The Pin is artfully attached with the greatest care. My iron hallmark assures you that it is a one of a kind Harriete Estel Berman brooch.

Totally irresistible, one of a kind pin 3 3/8” diameter.

My work is in 14 museums and over 28 books. No one works with recycled tin cans like I do. These pins were made special for the Etsy audience.

Some people may wonder how I arrived at this price.
These pins are based on 22 years of experience working with tin cans. I have evolved my own repetoire of techniques unlike anyone else's work. If you can look at the April Flower Brooches closely you will see how carefully they are constructed with tons of details. Each of the multiple layers of tins are artfully chosen to create magic. Every petal is cut by hand, and then twisted to create a dimensional faceted appearance.

The photography alone takes an hour or more includeing the photo set up, photography and photoshop refinement of the image.

If you want to come to my studio to select a pin, contact me directly. The trip to the San Francisco Bay area will be a memorable experience.
