2010
This piece was completed for the exhibition project in my advanced metals class. I chose New Traditional Jewellery: True Colours as my exhibition, though I will not be submitting this piece. It is a mask, representing the 'masks' we wear to be perceived as the people we would like to be. When the light passes through the plique a jour, your 'true colors' are seen reflected on your face, toying with the idea that you can hide behind your social mask, but who you truly are will always show through.

Thanks goes out to Robert Thomas Mullen for all the help taking these slides.
