Hi Anne,  So glad you enjoyed the demo.  I used a diamond ball burr to smooth the inside of the hemisphere at the tip of the nail set.  I also removed the shelf around the perimeter of the polished hemisphere.  That is why there is no noticeable ring around the rivet head.  Let me know if this is clean if not I can email you a drawing.

hope you'll see this.  was at the one blow rivet and couldn't catch everything said.  i looked at your handout and had a couple quick questions.  in it you say to use a modified nail set.  what do you mean by modified?  also, when you do make the one blow, why does the nail set not leave a "ring" around the newly created rivet?  thx so much for all your help and appreciated you sharing your knowledge.  best, anne
