I was just speaking about you to folks at the Fuller Craft Museum this weekend. Nice to see you on Crafthaus.
The polymer flexs, the front opens to slip on. There is a magnetic clasp behind to hold the ruffles in place. More recent configurations have loops which hook into each other. Two pieces like that are on view at Fuller
