This custom made name tag was given to Stanley Lechtzin for speaking during the PDS via Skype for "Collections, Collectors, and YOU" at the SNAG Conference in Minneapolis. Stanley Lechtzin shared a few examples of student work from 50 years of running the Metals/Digital Arts program at Tyler School of Art, Temple University. Many of his students have made significant contributions to the field as Master Metalsmiths at the National Ornamental Metal Museum, ACC Craft Fellows, teaching at nationally known academic programs or gained visibility through developing their own work. Stanley understood that collecting the student work was documenting the field of crafts and metal arts. It gives the current students in his program a first hand knowledge of the past and a vision of their future.
