Hi Amber,

I just saw your note. I am sorry for not seeing it before. I didn't even know you could leave comments. I have seen your work for years on the net, although I have never seen it in real life. It looks great! I have not spoken to my brother in 18 years. Wesley is a great artist, I wish I could get to know him better, he lives far away. Good luck with the work. Thanks, Tony

As I am not much of a glazer, and something of a control freak, I frequently work with Original Milk Paint, which you can use on bisque, high fire, your furniture or your barn.

It's a milk based, non toxic paint pigment, mixed with water and offers an almost slip like surfacein rich subdued colors. It was frequently used by Pennsylvania Dutch and Early American furniture makers.

I buy the Milk Paint directly from Original Milk Paint.: http://www.milkpaint.com/
Buy their sample kit which allows you a selection of ten colors and use it like watercolor.

If you do buy it and have any questions, let me know.

Alice

Amber,

Such provocative work. Very dramatic with touches of whimsy and eroticism.

I love your work too. Might you consider a short interview with me, via email, about your work for the Crafthaus In and Out of Clay  blog?

Amber,

when your back from your trip, you may want to take a look at this new crafthaus artist:
Morwenna Catt. I think you will like this work.

Thank you, Amber! Though I will respectfully disagree....mine's but a poor copy of nature's original......and life is always more beautiful than sterility......but the non-living universe is is still gloriously beautiful and incomprehensible to me.

Beautiful and original series, Amber. I enjoyed viewing it. As if my best enigmatic nightmares could be rendered tangible and beautiful......with a touch of the ironic and funny added for a memorable and pleasant flavor......
