A year has passed since I was invited to show at The Scottish Gallery, a lovely space in New Town, Edinburgh - it was my first exhibition out of the country. There were many things for me to learn about shipping and pricing for another currency, just the mechanics of it all. The gallery staff were supportive and…

thank you also for the kind remarks. i do enjoy working in series. the one i'm working on now will have words embedded. i'm tentative about it, but also excited, so i;ll see how it goes. thanks for the "friending". will you be at snag in toronto next may?
Thanks Deborrah.
You work is just stunning!
I do think it's fun to see if I can give the pieces a certain monumentality even if they are small in scale, and appreciate your comment very much. Your work is fascinating. What presence. A lovely pairing of organic and rock-hard elements. And very sculptural.

Forgive me too for my late response. I have been too busy with deadlines and commissions. Thank you for the links. I have heard of the The Society for Midwest Metalsmiths but not Craft Alliance. Seems like a great place to visit. The jewelry here in Kansas City is not as developed as I was hoping for. There is a jewelry dept at KU, Lawrence other than that I have met some jewelers. I would love to go St. Louis and meets other jewelers! Good luck with your projects.
