Max Eberle, professional artist from Dover, Ohio, won First Place with his portrait in pointillism titled Teresa In Prayer. The portrait competition was sponsored by Fine Art America

I went to bed as normal last night; meaning midnight and reached for my daily crossword puzzles, Sudoko, and switched on Criminal Mind repeats on ION. So there's another hour of awake time. Finally, my eyes tire and I'm ready to turn off the light and try to sleep. As an artist, sometimes this is difficult as I lay there and actually worry about

Do you remember when you first learned about colors? I can’t be for sure, but I must have learned “my colors” from my father as he painted tiny little faces on his fishing lures. We would sit at our dining table for hours as he secured each small metal lure in a mini-clipped vice and then delicately created “alluring tiny faces” to attract the biggest of fish in the lake. I remember his determination at painting perfect little yellow circles within larger black or red circles for the eyes. Now,…

Hello! I am new to Crafthaus...haven't really got my act/shop together much yet. BUT IT WILL HAPPEN! Currently I am in a remote part of Arizona and am focusing on promoting my art via my blog
