Unmasked: Conceal and Reveal

In 2017, SNAG will be traveling to New Orleans for the May 24-27 conference event,
"Nexus: A Connection of Ideas."

A tradition at the SNAG conference is the fundraiser Exhibition in Motion, a live fashion show and fundraising event featuring models wearing cutting edge jewelry and sculpture.
The 2017 theme will be Unmasked: Conceal and Reveal.

CALL FOR ENTRIES

A call for wearable objects that conceal and reveal on the runway! For 2017's Exhibition in Motion we are looking for large-scale wearable pieces that incorporate an element of transformation. The wearer must be able to perform the transformation on the runway with little to no assistance and be as smooth as possible. Pieces can be singular or segments can be removed and left at a drop off point along the runway. Building on the success of 2016, we are looking for large-scale work that will stand out on the runway -- think in feet not inches!

Partners, small groups and class proposals are encouraged.

SNAG membership is required to participate. For groups of two or more, at least one of the group members needs to be a SNAG member. #snagmember

Applications are due by January 6th, 2017.
