Just got back from Edinburgh where I met up with fellow Crafthaus member, Yi Liu, where we discussed a possible collaboration in the spring. Unfortunately, it was only a short meeting but we chatted about loads of things and arranged to meet again in Birmingham for Spring Fair and to actually get to work on something then. Here he is with some of his work:


He brought some of his samples along, as you can see. These were experiments which were not developed but which I still absolutely love:




He gave me the sample on the extreme right of this photograph and I am going to have to fight to NOT take it to the workshop tomorrow to work on!



Back in the workshop after a week's holiday. Next piece is for the Landfill Art project and is going to be made from the hubcap of a Rover 2000:
