Call for Artists: RADIUS ( at The Society of Arts and Crafts)

The Society of Arts and Crafts, the oldest crafts non-profit in the United States, will be relocating to 100 Pier 4 this summer. Radius, the Society of Arts and Crafts' inaugural exhibition at 100 Pier 4, is a celebration of our new neighborhood's rich craft community.

To be considered for inclusion in Radius, you must live or work within 1 mile of 100 Pier 4, as the crow flies. We are seeking work in a variety of media and styles encompassing craft. We define craft through its traditional materials: wood, ceramic, glass, fiber, and metal; we do recognize that craftspeople are exploring new materials as well. Forms, styles, and techniques will be varied. Paintings and traditional sculpture will not be considered.

Applications are open from February 17, 2016 until April 30, 2016. Artwork must be available between June 1 and October 2015.
