We really wanted to get in the studio, but we were ambushed by a turkey dinner.

Stevie, it is an Indonesian Pangolin. The animal is very rare and endangered now. This specimen was collected around 1930 and is a very high quality natural history museum mounting. It was given to me by a friend who found it in amongst a pile of trash in a building he was moving into. Scared the crap out of him when discovered it under some old rags. He was about to bean it with a shovel when he realized it wasn't moving. We never cease to be amazed at America's trash.

What's that critter on the table? I thought it was something strange making passionate love to something else strange...but it turned out to be something strange on a rock. Unless it's making passionate love to the rock which in itself would be very strange.
