Hello friends and colleagues,

Some of you might be aware that this Fall marks the 40th year Harlan will have taught at the University of North Texas. In celebration of this, we are working hard to raise enough funds to permanently endow the student scholarship that Harlan started. Part of this effort is the creation of a Harlan-inspired activity book that is now available for purchase on Blurb: http://www.blurb.com/b/6978873-the-official-harlan-w-butt-activity-...

$10 of every Activity Book sold will go towards that scholarship. It will only be available until July 1. It’s over 70 pages of fun. Please consider getting yourself a copy and helping spread the word to anyone you think might be interested. (I’ve also posted information about purchasing the book on my Facebook feed if that’s an easier way for you to share it.) This is our first fundraising effort towards the scholarship and we will be following up with a larger campaign in the Fall. Anything we can raise now helps it get off to a great start.

For those of you who have already purchased a book, thank you so very much for your support.  In future Blog posts, I would love to feature any pages that people have filled out--just send an image my way!

Thanks in advance for your support of this project and enjoy!
