Wonderful stuff! And beautifully presented. I adore the grass piece, and your jewelry is just terrific. May I add a link to your website on my blog about using recycled materials in art - http://beyondgarbage.wordpress.com ?
This is a fledgling group project, and I'm giving it a year before I worry too much about the momentum. Mostly it's an excuse to play (rather than produce). I know I get caught up in inventory production when I really need to take a break and experiment a bit more. This nudge doesn't always work, but it's nice to be reminded that play is important and that not everything we make has to be "finished" or "good" according to anyone's calculations. You are welcome to join in the experimentation (or just be on the tickle email list to know which materials we use every two months).
Your work is fabulous and directly connects with the type of thing we are aiming for in the project. Your information about copyright, etc., is quite useful as well.
Hi Harriete, thanks so much for your comment - I've been an admirer of your work for a long time! I'm enjoying looking at your recent works. Take care.
Hi Harriete,
Thanks for looking at my work- Crafthaus is such a cool way to connect with people! I am new to Crafthaus, and so not all of my work is on my page yet, and I also have not gotten to adding my artist statement or info on my pieces. I hope to have all that updated within the next few days, so please check back to my page if you are interested. Hope to see you at SNAG, I will introduce myself!
Harriete, I'm so glad you went to see the show! I didn't have the diabetic for life necklace at the show because I donated to the Diabetic Youth Foundation for a gala they had a few years ago. This org. really help me out as a teenager and still does as an adult. In some small way I felt like I was giving back. Happy New Year
Hello Harriete, thanks for the feedback, I actually don't mind your comment, and I have been thinking the same thing about those earrings, I do avoid wearing them because of the "glitz" factor! By the way, I love your colorful designs.

Being a big fan of bugs, I really enjoyed your Butterfly piece. Thanks for being my friend & best to you in 2010!
