Hi Brigitte, Thanks for the welcome and thank you for recommending Chihiro Makio's teapots! Amazing. This is a great site, I have already seen so much great work and made new connections. Thank you for creating it!

Thank you for the welcome, Brigitte. I am excited to see your work as well. I too just love mixed media pieces, to work on, as well as to view others. You have an amazing broad spectrum of work. I look forward to networking here on Crafthaus and seeing some fantastic work from all over the world.
By now, you have most likely noticed an interest in crafthaus by artists from Lithuania. My ceramic artist husband, Rimas VisGirda, has been inviting his friends. My husband was born in Kaunas and returns to Lithuania frequently.
Rimas invited 100+ of his friends to join crafthaus. Rimas participates in international symposia so his friends are all over the world.
The number of crafthaus members has really grown since I joined two weeks ago. Amazing. There's clearly an interest in your concept. Congrats!
Thanks, Brigitte, I attempted to post some images, but my computer kept freezing. I'm going to have to look into that. The rings and earrings are made with reclaimed fur, mostly mink and chinchilla, some unidentifiable -- sweet little gifts from friends and strangers. I look forward to participating and thank you for engaging all of us in this artistic adventure.

Thanks Brigitte. I'm glad to be here and interested to see what can happen here. I'll be setting up albums and posting images soon.
I see that we have a Pittsburgh connection. My wife went to Pitt and I lived with her in Oakland for about 4 months in '99. I had a blast there.
I do have a question though. I see that blog posts can be placed within the Crafthaus community. Is there a way to link my existing blog postings to my Crafthaus account/page?

Yes Brigitte, I know Catherine Butler very well and I also know Michael Romanik. I met you when I went to see his show at your gallery many years ago. It's nice to get reacquainted.
Hello Brigitte,
Thank you for your most kind comments so quickly after I signed on. I will need to add this site to my favourites and keep on top of "one more thing" :)
Thanks again and I will do my best.
Sincerely,
Janis
