</a><br />Hidden In Nature II, an exhibition of large, sculptural jewelry and a wall<br />
installation by Kansas City based artist Cheryl Eve Acosta, will be on view at The Leedy-Voulkos Art<br />
Center from August 1st through Sept. 28th, 2013. Cheryl Eve is known for her bold, distinctive, body<br />
adornments and sculptural jewelry that treat the human form as a canvas—merging art with fashion.<br />
<br />
The exhibition includes a new collection of marine inspired, scarf-like necklaces that highlight the<br />
impermanence and fragility of natural oceanic forms. Also on display will be a large-scale installation<br />
entitled Mer de Verre (Sea of Glass). The show, including more than 25 pieces, tracks the evolution of<br />
Cheryl Eve’s work since her first Hidden in Nature show in 2009.<br />
