Here's the listing:

Linking a Life:
Creating a Personal Story Chain
Instructor: Ken Bova
March 23 & 24, 2013
10 am – 5 pm

In this workshop we combine personal charms, talismans, photos, souvenirs, family mementos, and an assortment of linking mechanics to create a one-of-a-kind autobiographical chain of events. The class will cover cold connections, clasp mechanics, how to make tiny frames for capturing images, and unique ways to utilize found objects to trigger, enhance, and compliment the stories told through personal objects. Some basic jewelry skills are useful but not necessary. Expect to tell some tales, make lots of connections, and link together a personal story chain.
Course #S133234 $275.

Ken Bova is a studio jeweler who made his home in Montana for the past 30 years. He currently teaches jewelry and enameling as a Professor at East Carolina University. He taught at Montana State University for over 20 years and has presented workshops nationwide at such venues as Penland, Haystack, Arrowmont, and Idyllwild. He is a Past President of the Society of North American Goldsmiths and served on the board of directors from 2002 to 2006.

His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and is found in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian National Art Museum Renwick Gallery, the Tacoma Art Museum, and the Racine Art Museum, Racine Wisconsin among others. He is a recipient of a Montana Arts Council Fellowship and his work has been published in American Craft, Metalsmith, and Ornament magazines. He is represented by Facere Jewelry Arts in Seattle, WA: www.facerejewelryart.com

Hello Judy,

Welcome to crafthaus, the network for craft artists and those who support them! I am very glad you joined us! Your crafthaus membership is valid through March 15, 2014.

Please look around and add your thoughts to the groups, blogs and discussions. Crafthaus is a participatory sport!
Please note that ALL images sent to the website are vetted to assure a measure of overall quality control. Unlike other image sharing websites, crafthaus is not a "free-for-all". Our members present their work in front of an educated and critical audience so the photos have to be GREAT. Our goal is to show our members' work in the best possible light. From the many images received daily, we aim to post as many as possible. Crafthaus heartily encourages comments from the membership, however, with regard to photos posted or not, we have a strict "NO WHINING" policy in effect! If your images don't get posted they do not meet crafthaus quality standards. Please refer to the photo guidelines under the FAQ tab for questions.
If there are ever any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to email me via crafthauseditor at live dot com, I will do my best to be of help. I hope you will enjoy being with this network, and will find the exchanges interesting and fun.

Again: Welcome !
