Welcome to crafthaus ! I am very glad you joined us. You probably don't remember me, but we met at SAG in Cleveland a few years ago, when you and a friend of yours took off during the conference and decided to visit my store (The Jewelry Studio in Little Italy.) I still remember vividly the LEGO jewelry you make :-))) Because we moved away from Cleveland, I had to close my little shop, but I now have another gallery in Pittsburgh, Luke & Eloy, which I really love !
Anyway, back to crafthaus: Please feel free to add your comments to the blog/discussion topics that are already posted. Of course, if there is something else you'd much rather talk about, please add that to the site so that the rest of us can chime in. I am sure there are a lot of artists here who you already know professionally.
I really hope you will enjoy being with this network and find the exchanges interesting and fun. The more you put into it, the more you will get out of it, for sure.
If there are ever any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to email me anytime. I will do my best to be of help.
Again: Welcome !

Hi Emiko,
Just want to let you know that I showed your crown jewel slides to my students when I gave a lecture about found objects. They loved them and the concept blew their minds! Cheers, MDB
Hi Emiko, I'm so glad to have had the chance to meet you and see your work in person at SNAG this week. You were great on that catwalk! Congratulations on being awarded the 1st Place Juror's Award at the Decorative Resurgance exhibition! Wendy
Hi Emiko! It was very nice meeting you (and sharing lunch in the sculpture park) at the SNAG conference. Hope we run into each other again!
Congrats too on the Decorative Resurgance award!
Best,
Tricia
I just went through the latest Metalsmith and (... rub eyes here) ... tada: "Queen Margherita" in a full page spread ! How great is that !! Together with that wonderful article "Ornamentalism Revisited". Congratulations to you ! That is awesome :-))))
Emiko,
Yes I'm very excited about blogging and what not. Thanks for following. I'll be certain to capture as much as possible for those who are not attending. Maybe some flickr too. Sorry to hear you won't be there.

Hi Emiko. It was such a pleasure in meeting you at Snag this weekend, brief as it was. I will be in SF next weekend and I was wondering if you had any suggestions to shows or galleries in the area that you wouldn't mind suggesting. I'm still in limbo as I just graduated and may be moving to that area... Thank you so much!
