My solder station vent system

I figure someone would be interested in adding a vent system like I did last year. This system could be used for removing any fumes from your work area.The variable speed switch is really a good match for this motor. When you first turn it to the on position it starts the motor at the higher speed, and as you rotate it clockwise it gets slower.
I purchased the blower motor and variable speed switch from

The motor is designed for removing fumes from the work place.
The rest of the items in the system were purchased at the local big box hardware store. As you can see the I used a clothes dryer exhaust hose and sheet metal coupling.
