The Association for Contemporary Jewellery
is devoted to the promotion, representation, understanding and development of contemporary jewellery in the United Kingdom and abroad.
Founded as a membership association in 1997 and registered as a Limited Company in 2006, it recognises a need to foster discussion, debate and critical review and interaction amongst its members. To this end we organise conferences, lectures, seminars, workshops and an annual general meeting for our members. Our regular newsletter, findings, features reviews, information, comment, book offers and discounts and is of benefit to both our members and the wider public. We also produce a monthly e-bulletin featuring news and opportunities.
We welcome as members practising jewellers, associated designers and crafts people, educators, students, gallery owners and retailers, museum curators, critics and collectors - indeed, anyone with an interest in contemporary jewellery.

Eastside projects is an artist-led public gallery which commissions and presents experimental contemporary art practices and exhibitions. The role of Gallery Assistant requires contribution to all aspects of Eastside Projects’ work and may include invigilation, interacting with visitors, exhibition production and installation, gallery maintenance and events management and delivery.

Black Swan Arts’ Biennial Open Art Competition & Exhibition
Criteria: Black Swan Arts are inviting submissions for the 2012 Biennial Open Arts Competition. In 2009, over 500 entries from across the South West were submitted, entries are shortlisted by a panel of judges. Shortlisted entries will be displayed in the main gallery from 10th Feb - 31st Mar 2012.

The Norfolk and Norwich Commission
Criteria: The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals are looking for artists to create a commissioned sculpture based on the theme Wish/Prayer Tree. Artists will be required to work in metal and mixed media. The fee for this work will be around £20,000.
