Thank you.  This was made on a 3D printer.  To be exact a Dimension 1200SST FDM modeler.  I used Zbrush and a Wacom tablet ot model it.  The software works best with Haptic interface devices such as the Wacom.  Other devices provide resistance so it actually feels like you are carving material.  Ont he screen it will actuall look like clay and as you are modeling on the screen it will feel like you are carving.

These are just plain beautiful. Utterly "now" but also somehow ancient. 

What is the material?
