Its true! If you want your art or craft to travel across the state, around the U.S. or cross international borders, start planning for safe shipping during construction.

This is especially important if there are large or heavy elements combined with delicate components.

Planning during construction prevents the larger heavy components from damaging the fragile elements. Another issue might be planning for dis-assembly so that you can ship in small separate boxes using standard shipping companies rather than larger shipping containers/crates and a freight company.
