In the gallery, glassweekend'13 opened with a reception back in Pittsburgh on June 21.
Nine established and emerging international artists, presenting exciting
and innovative sculpture, include Rhoda Baer, Robert Bender, Susan Silver Brown, John de Wit,
Jon Goldberg, Mikyoung Jung, Catherine Labonte, Matthew Perez, and Erica Rosenfeld. A
distinctive selection of new jewelry by artists both new and those already on the gallery's
roster is presented by Dolores Barrett, Jane Bruce, Ronit Dagan, Karen Gilbert, Bronwen Heilman,
Amy Lemaire, Elise Ordorica, Erica Rosenfeld, Melissa Schmidt, and Barbara Becker Simon. This
unique collection exhibits a wearable counterpoint to the exhibition's sculptural work.
