Interdisciplinary. Community. Advocacy. Humor.
Super thin and lightweight bracelet constructed from recycled tin cans. The half circle shape and ovoid center are totally unique forms inspired by the peppermint candies printed on the tin cans.
Perfect for the holidays or to make even the most mundane day extra sweet.
The reverse side is printed in a colorful turquoise & yellow “Cream Crackers” with red detail. This echoes the red used for the inside wrist which has scallop pinks. Wrist will fit a medium sized hand.
Bracelet is very thin and lightweight at about 1/8”- 3/16” thick.
The outside edge uses a pinked zig-zag edge. Despite the humble nature of the materials it is very carefully crafted using my twenty years of experience working with tin cans.My work is in over 25 books and in eleven museums. I pride myself in develop techniques to work with tin cans in the most unusual ways used only in my work.
