Made from the brake pad of a Cessna aircraft, kevlar/steel composite from a bullet-proof vest factory, silver, enamel, blue topaz, lapis-lazuli, magnets and a 3d-printed scarab.
I was very uncomfortable about the "Egyptian" theme as it is somewhat out of my normal area of design but I now like it a lot.
I also completed another earring trio, "Rock Pool", made from the brake cable of a burnt-out car found on Southwold beach:
Set with blue topaz, peridot, two small but good-quality emeralds from an earring found in the street, amethyst and pearls.
