Small scale hollow, figurative castingin silver

Hi Craftausers, has any one out there had experience with small scale hollow casting in silver.

I found some great videos on the Art Institute of Chicago's website, but would also like to communicate with anyone who has tried it.

Christoper, I've done a number of small, hollow silver objects which you can see in my gallery. The pendant "Supercollider" is made of a hollow-cast central section; my "Mace" pendant is a hollow-cast sphere and my most recently-completed piece is "Futurism" which is also made from a hollow-cast element:
