Learning lessons!

I've NOT vanished,
I've just survived an intense three day weekend
of the Fall Art Tour here in SouthWest Wisconsin.
I was Artist #19.
Three plus weeks behind because of the poison ivy,
I'm still entertaining visitors who have been coming back for another look around the studio.
So YESTERDAY
I was able to get back to the RocketRings,
although I forgot to bring my camera to the metal shop, I did snap one with my cell phone.
OH, my...it was a very good learning day for me
painful, but one that pretty much made sure I will never do any of what I did again!
In my own studio now, I'll take pictures,
and explain WHAT it was that I was doing WRONG,
and what I've now got with these first three,
that I'm going to try to pull through.
I knew there would be some problems
since I'm not set up to do a lot of this in my own studio, and for the time being, practice is impossible.
Bringing only three of the rings to completion was smart.
I'll get back to this tonight.
