A new collective of contemporary makers seeks space to exhibit during Schmuck 2013!

'Made to Make' consists of seven art jewellers whose diverse collections have already culminated in an exhibition in the UK, we want to travel with this show to Munich in 2013! We are Farrah Al-Dujaili, Stephanie Arm, Emily Bullock, Hannah Fewtrell-Bolton, Lydia Feast, Katherine Richmond and Natalie Smith.



We are open to any opportunites and would appreciate your helping us to find a space to exhibit!

Faux Authenticity

Van Cleef & Arpels’ ad on the back cover of the February 2012 issue of Art News is the latest in a sad legacy of the haute couture jewelry design world.  The ad displays an exquisitely crafted platinum and bejeweled “zipper” necklace.  It’s an impressive piece of work, advertised to coincide with the publication’s theme of “Where Fashion Meets Art”.

We woke up yesterday, checked on our Etsy store, and there was a sale

from one Rhonda Ryan. Hurray. Nice way to start the day. Or so we
