Interdisciplinary. Community. Advocacy. Humor.
Every Fall, crafthaus awards a micro project grant to a crafthaus member regardless of location, professional background, or craft field. The grant is unrestricted and intended to provide assistance for a personal or group project. Want to learn a new skill? Have an idea that just needs a little financial help? Wished you could get a craft community related project off the ground?
Past recipients started an international community project with a women's cooperative in Turkey, traveled from Australia to Canada to partake in collaborations across craft media, and learned new techniques that fell outside of their usual scope of work.
