One of Hagen’s most popular scarf workshops, the beautiful hand dyed and hand felted Airey Fairy scarf is possibly the best scarf in the world. In some circles of wise women, it is being hailed as the Wondrous Menopause Scarf because it is both cool and warm whenever needed. Once you take this class you will have the skills and knowledge to continue to make more scarves, larger shawl size or smaller head wrap variations at home. Students will begin the class by picking their roving from the instructor’s hand dyed fine Australian merino wool and then will learn how to lay out and hand felt the full length scarf in the traditional wet felted technique. All materials provided.
