SKEELS is a growing jewellery and product design company. It was established in 1994 by Rebecca Skeels and is now based in Farnham, Surrey. Rebecca's work ranges from unique hand made cufflinks and pendants to inspirational furniture and games.

I use the torch to make granules because I find that I control the size of the granules better. I will try your suggestion for bronze metal clay. Thank you!

I hope to have two new pieces done in pmc to submit to the Powder Metallurgy exhibition.

Thank you for your comment, Rebecca. I am trying to move away from the usual granulation designs and create volume as well as a more modern aesthetic impression. But is it a difficult process, time consuming and often not very successful. Trying things out now with precious metal clay...wish me luck!

Third time's the charm...

I keep trying to write this blog and get it posted but I seem to run into self inflicted road blocks. I was hoping to have something running by Wednesday. Showing Publicly and Building a Legacy Privately

For the next 13 months we'll discuss the trials, triumphs, and tribulations of exhibiting  in art shows as emerging artists and established artists. Exhibition coverage will be balanced with tips on how to strategically build a legacy over a length of time, in a way that makes sense to your individual goals as an artist and maker. 

Join us each month! There will be surprises around every corner, with photos, videos, SNAG conference coverage, and occasional interviews by rising artists!
