Create a personal and unique "story vessel" by using a hand-cast paper pulp. Students will learn to embed flat memorabilia inclusions as they form colorful paper vessels, which can commemorate some special occasion or simply be handsome receptacles for the student's special collections of shells, dried plant materials or other knickknacks. Bring a variety of clear plastic bowls with high sides to act as moulds and flat inclusions. No experience necessary for this meditative process. The workshop runs from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break!
Instructor: Winnie Randolan, Philadelphia, PA (also teaching "Paper Making Sampler"
